Why does everybody love music until they get to music class?
Why does almost every adult I ask say he or she gave up a music instrument?
They all "took" violin, piano,
etc. and dropped it.
I believe that everyone who has gone so far as to begin to study
an instrument has the desire to participate in the beauty of
music. However, the dream of making music becomes more and more
distant by undue emphasis on technique and boring, trivial little
solo pieces.
Music At First Sight provides several different roughly graded
parts to play along with the same recorded piece of music as
a way to listen more closely, try out your own ideas and through
greater understanding be encouraged to sharpen your skills and
musicality.
With Music At First Sight you will have the experience and the
pleasure of ensemble playing with each artist whose recording
you acquire to play along with. Get as many recordings of this
piece as you can - you’ll learn as much about yourself as you
do those artists.
